Dr. Peter Rich, DMD
A native of Cape Cod, Dr. Rich graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. After graduation, he completed an intense one year residency in advanced general dentistry followed by three years on active duty in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Rich has practiced in Poway for the last seven years and prior to that he was located in La Jolla. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and he is an active member of the San Diego County Dental Society.
Additionally he regularly donates his time to the County Dental Society for the “Give Kids a Smile” program and Team Smile events, and CDA Cares program.
After completing his time in the Navy, Dr. Rich decided to settle down in San Diego. The switch from the cold winters in the Northeast to the great weather and ability to be active outdoors year round was an easy choice.
Dr. Rich has two boys, Aiden and Jake. When he’s not working in the office you might find him camping with his boys, playing tennis, bringing his dog Beau to the beach, or pounding the pedals on his mountain bike with friends.
